Owner: Reclamation District No. 1000 (RD 1000), Natomas Basin

Location: Sacramento and Sutter Counties

Description of Work: The project consists of placement of approximately 8,500 tons of 3/4" Class II aggregate base along the landside patrol road adjacent to the levees. All material will be imported from off-site by truck. The contractor shall: perform foundation preparation; furnish equipment, materials, labor, and construction materials specification (quality control testing); and, reconstruct the gravel landside patrol road. The landside patrol roads that require repair are along the Sacramento River East Levee (approximately 12 feet wide for a total length of approximately 2.25 miles), and along the Natomas Cross Canal South Levee (approximately 15 feet wide for a total length of approximately 2.25 miles).

Plan Cost: $20.00 (non-refundable). Contract documents and construction specifications are available at the offices of Reclamation District No. 1000 as of April 30, 2024. Please call prior to arrival to ensure a hard copy is available for pickup. Please make checks payable to: Reclamation District 1000.

Mandatory Pre-Bid: No pre-bid meeting. All questions can be delivered by email or phone to the contact persons below.

Bid Opening: Eligible bidders who wish to submit a bid may drop off bids at the RD 1000 office (1633 Garden Highway, Sacramento CA 95833-9706) by Monday, May 20, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at which time the bids will be publicly opened in person.
