Q: How many years have you been with the District?
A: I have been with the District for 15 years and was recently promoted to the position of Operations Supervisor.
Q: What is your typical workday like at RD1000?
A: A typical workday for me consists of attending project meetings, checking project sites throughout the District, monitoring staff while they are out in the field, and interacting with our constituents. I also inspect our District facilities to ensure everything works properly for the safety of the employees and the public.
Q: What do you love about your job?
A: What I like most about my job is working outdoors and the variation in day-to-day activities.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
A: Outside of work I enjoy hunting and going diving.
Q: What should the community know about the District?
A: I think the one thing that the community should know is that the District maintains around 65,000 acres of land and we do it with a field crew of 8 guys.
